Created by designer Bruce Kilgore, the Air Force 1 was Nike’s first basketball sneaker to feature Nike Air technology. The circular outsole found on AF1's is the first of its kind which allowed basketball players a pivot point that most sneakers back in the ’80s did not allow. Arguably one of Nike’s most recognizable silhouettes worldwide – this timeless model has seen countless collaborations, material executions, colorways and iterations.
