The first two caps to release from the collection are commemorative styles that celebrate the anniversaries of World Series championships for both the Mets and the Yankees. 2016 marks a special year, as it is not only the 30th anniversary of the 1986 Mets World Series championship, but it is also the 20th anniversary of the 1996 Yankees World Series victory. Both caps are adorned with Kith-branded rose gold metal plates on the front, while also featuring the teams’ respective World Series patches on the right, tonal New Era flags on the left, and team logos on the rear. These two caps arrive in custom display case boxes, and are accompanied by tickets to one game of this year’s Subway Series. Mets cap customers will receive tickets to the August 2nd game at Citi Field, while Yankees cap customers will receive tickets to the August 3rd game at Yankees Stadium. Customers will then pick up their caps at the Kith Pop-Ups at each respective field on their respective day. The Anniversary Rose Gold caps retail for $85 USD.
