8th St. by Ronnie Fieg for Clarks Originals makes a return alongside Kith Spring 2, a 78-style inline collection of fleece, trousers, shorts, outerwear and layering pieces. This installment introduces two new footwear silhouettes created by Fieg, who serves as the joint venture’s Creative Director - the Rossendale and the Maycliffe, while the Breacon makes a return. Each style is offered in a color palette which is featured throughout the broader collection.
The Rossendale takes deep inspiration from the iconic Wallabee silhouette, from which Fieg has a profound connection to from his nearly three decades of industry experience, retaining key elements the style is known for while also providing a new narrowed and streamlined shape. The suede upper features a more rounded toe, while the interior offers a leather sockliner heel patch. Fieg and Clarks branding is seen on the tongue, fobs and interior, while the iconic Trek Man logo is seen on the lateral side. This style is offered in maple and olive colorways.
The Maycliffe silhouette also employs a suede upper, with moc-stitch detailing that blends into the vamp. The back half of this style features a quilted collar as a nod to the runner’s inspiration. Fieg and Clarks branding is highlighted on the tongue, fobs and interior while the classic crepe outsole rounds out this style. This style is offered in burnt orange and goat, staying consistent with Spring 2’s color palette.
The Breacon makes a return from past seasons and stays true to the popular silhouette’s key elements. The nubuck upper is accompanied with color-blocking throughout, taken from key outerwear pieces from Spring 2. Fieg and Clarks branding is highlighted on the tongue, fobs and interior while the classic crepe outsole rounds out this style. This silhouette is offered in two color varietals, multi-gray and multi-blue takes in shades pulled from this season’s palette.
