While establishing his name in the music industry, Big Sean has simultaneously become closely associated with fashion. Since his birth into the publicized music scene in 2007, Big Sean has always seemed to be on the edge of fashion, mixing street and designer wear effortlessly. Now, for the third time, the Detroit-rapper partners with adidas Originals to reimagine the Metro Attitude in a completely individualistic way. When first developed in 1988, the Metro Attitude was the first of its kind to utilize Italian leathers and snakeskin. This revamped model stays true to its predecessor, while updating key design elements to make it a very contemporary rendition. The majority of the upper exhibits a tasteful floral print layered over a snakeskin-textured black microsuede. Contrasting black microsuede panels complement the print, as do various gold hits seen on the Three Stripes logos, tongue label, Trefoil heel logo, and side-panel metal hardware. The shoe is extremely detail-oriented, prohibiting even a single surface to deter from the ambience of the shoe. Tonal waxed laces with gold aglets fasten the front, while the inner-tongue label is emblazoned with Big Sean's lion-head logo, and the footbeds display custom-printed gold text that reads, "Dreams Stopped Being Dreams When I Turned Them Into Goals." Lastly, the shoe is accompanied by custom-packaging, such as a floral print dustbag and palm tree print box. The Big Sean x adidas Originals Metro Attitude will be available this Friday, in tandem with the Big Sean x adidas Originals Collection, exclusively at both Kith NYC locations and online at KithNYC.com.
