This summer, perennial California-streetwear brand Stussy rehashes their collaborative legacy with Vans Vault for their Spring '14 collection. Two OG models are graced with print-laden designs, the Sk8-Hi LX - "8 Ball" and OG Era LX - "Bones." The Sk8-Hi presents a rich black suede used on the vamp and face panels. Stussy's notorious 20 year-old "8 Ball" print wraps the quarter panels and heel in black and white, where its met by a black suede heel tab. A red leather eyestay flows across the quarter panels providing a nice contrast, while the Vans famous black and white checkerboard laces maintains a peculiar uniformity. A white midsole with black rubber piping, as well as "8 Ball" custom printed insoles complete this collaborative model. The OG Era LX is draped in Stussy's signature "Bones" print, which first saw light in 1988. Vibrant teal accents are seen on the supple leather heel wrap, as well as the entirety of the sockliner.
