As part of the third annual Air Max Day, we're excited to launch the Air Max LD-Zero H. Designed by streetwear pioneer Hiroshi Fujiwara, of fragment design and Pool Aoyama, this all-new silhouette combines retro styling with Nike's progressive technologies. Speaking to the inspiration of the design, Fujiwara explains:
I love searching through the Nike archives. On a recent visit, I happened to come across the Nike Boston, which was a predecessor to the LD-1000. I thought it would be really interesting to combine that silhouette with the latest technologies available today. Performance technologies are amazing to work with, so I paired the Boston upper with the Air Max 2014 platformToday, we invite customers to reserve a pair of the Air Max LD-Zero H before its official launch next Saturday – 3/26. Customers who reserve a pair will also be rewarded with a special wristband to attend the opening day of Air Max Con on 3/24. This wristband grants customers immediate entrance into the event. Customers are then invited back to pick up their pair from our Kith Manhattan store at 8AM on 3/26.
