Kith Winter II Lookbook
Kith presents the second delivery of its Men's Winter 2022 collection – Winter II, a 57-style offering for the deepest months of winter.
For this latest evolution of the Kith wardrobe, the brand proposes best-in-class Italian textiles envisioned in forward-looking combinations of texture, shade and thoughtfully tailored silhouette.
The Elm Shearling Parka sees a patchwork melange of fabrications colorblocked in shades of warm chestnut - shearling is used in two ways, with both curly and smooth faces featured; four variations of lamb shearling appear alongside lambskin; patch pockets at the chest and body add thoughtful utility.
Shearling features prominently throughout for the coldest months of the year, appearing elsewhere in the seamed-panel Griffen Sherpa Coaches Jacket, the Printed Shearling Short Becker Coat which lines custom monogrammed Turkish sheep shearling with satin, and the Script Corduroy Slippers, which see a baby cord upper lined with sherpa and finished with an embroidered Kith script logo.
Sport-inspired outerwear takes the form of Wool Coaches Jackets and Wool Varsity Jackets, each of which see premium recycled Italian double faced wool by Manteco as the luxurious backdrop for patch motifs central to the Kith identity.
Knitwear is unexpected and designed to add interest to layering. The Raynor Quilted Jacket overlays wool blend crochet on quilted and lightly filled cotton poplin, rendered in a warm stripe in shades of neutrals interspersed with warm reds, yellows and pinks. Cardigans are seen in plaid mohair, as well as 100% wool Fairisle patchwork as seen in the Doubtless Peaks Full Zip.
This season, Kith debuts outdoor-focused outwear created in collaboration with Marmot - the Mammoth GORE-TEX Parka in primary shades of Trekking Red, Lemon Chrome and Black. Featuring an iconic design, GORE-TEX® technology, and street-smart extras, the Men’s Mammoth Parka is back in an oversized package worthy of its name. Waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX fabric fends away moisture, while 100% seam-taped construction prevents leaks. On cold city nights, the lightweight 700-fill-power-down body and hood ensure warmth. A moisture-wicking, DriClime®-lined chin guard adds comfort while the powder skirt, drawcord waist, and VELCRO® cuffs shield snow from reaching inner layers.
The footwear component for this release for this collection sees Ronnie Fieg’s continued partnership with Timberland as they revisit the classic 6” and Super Boot 40 Below. Both styles utilize a pull-up leather on the upper that develops character with wear. The burgundy and green colorways are executed in a matte leather, while the wheat uses the brand’s standard leather finish. A woven label on the backside of the tongue features “Fieg for Timberland” branding and a brief timeline of the partnership. Each model is refitted with shearling lining, while both tongues feature debossing with Fieg and Timberland’s respective hometowns. Other elements include a custom “KXTH” dubraes, co-branded hang tags, special packaging, and dust bags.
