Kith Editorial for Nike Air Max 1 Kasina Pack
Kith partners with Nike and Korea-based retailer Kasina for its 25th anniversary with the launch of the Kasina x Nike Air Max 1 “Won-Ang” Pack.
Inspired by the Won-Ang, a set of wooden Mandarin ducks that symbolize a harmonious relationship in traditional Korean culture, this partnership embodies the need for love, friendship and collaboration in pursuit of a better world.
The pack features two colorways of the Nike Air Max 1, representing male and female Mandarin ducks with materials that convey the texture and silhouette of the birds. Each model features a combination of leather, suede, wool and faux-pony hair paneling on the upper, as well as Kasina branding on the tongue tab and lace stays, custom embroidered swooshes on the toe box and Won-Ang ducks embroidered on the heel. The model’s translucent outsoles reveal custom Kasina graphics throughout.
The drawing for the US in-store release of the Kasina x Nike Air Max 1 SP Pack is now open. You must live in the greater New York or Los Angeles areas to sign up. These styles will also be available first come, first serve at Kith.com on June 8 at 10 AM EST.
