Coming SoonKith and Columbia Sportswear reprise their longstanding collaboration, debuting a collection of apparel, accessories, and footwear for winter sports, complete with Nippon Snow Expedition artwork.
The apparel assortment from this collection blends Columbia’s meticulous approach to technicality with Kith’s design language, drawing inspiration from classic Japanese motifs and the natural scenes found in the Nippon mountains such as Hokkaido, and even more specifically, Mount Yōtei. The artwork throughout this collection includes nods to momiji foliage, and to the wildlife including the red-crowned crane and the brown bear, executed through intricate stitching and printing. Explore functional jackets like the 3L Ski Interchange™ Jacket which comes as a set of two layers—an Omni-Tech™ waterproof, breathable, fully seam-sealed shell equipped with pockets for ski gloves, goggles, and a reversible liner with Thermarator™ insulation and novelty quilting. Intended to create a fully-fashioned ski uniform, this collection also includes a 2L Ski Pant and 2L Ski Bib featuring Omni-Tech Waterproof breathable fully seam sealed shell, Kith Monogrammed Omni-Heat™ Infinity lined material and many other mountain ready ski features. Classic Kith silhouettes also return for this collaboration, comprising all-over printed sportswear like the Sherpa Harper Jacket in Landscape and Ice Dye iterations, the Wyona Sweater in a technically-knit iteration, Nelson Hoodies, Vintage Tees, and additional loungewear complete with co-branded graphics.
Designed for snow exhibitions as the title suggests, the accessory collection from Kith for Columbia NSE features carryall duffle bags that will have multiple handle points for versatile carrying, along with secure pockets, stowable straps, and custom artwork.
Kith and Columbia reprise their footwear collaboration, this year on the Newton Alpine, a hiking boot derived from the Newton Ridge™ from past collections, now winterized with a shearling lining, OutDry™ technology, hairy suede, nubuck upper, a protective rubber rand, and durable metal hardware. It is complete with an Omni-MAX™ rubber outsole, hiking laces with additional lace options, and a Kith-branded heel pull, and the packaging for this partnership features an all-over print drawn from the main collection’s artwork.
Alongside Columbia, Kith partnered with professional equipment manufacturers Capita, Nordica, and Union Binding Company to debut its first line of custom ski and snowboard gear, designed for optimal performance on the mountain. The Kith for Capita 158 Snowboards come in two all-over printed iterations featuring artwork drawn from the apparel assortment, completed by Nippon Snow Expedition branding. Skiers of all levels can upgrade their experience on the slopes with Kith for Nordica Enforcer 94 & Unleashed 106 Ski sets, both engineered to have All Mountain rockers ideal for confident versatility, whether it’s cross-country or alpine skiing. Explore Freeride Pro Ski Poles with an optimized grip, and two colorways of the Speedmachine 3 130S Ski Boot, also designed for All Mountain use, Kith’s first-ever Ski Boot silhouette. Designed in partnership with Union Binding Company, Kith presents two Strada Bindings—the #1 for park and freestyle snowboarding—made in two exclusive hues.
Lastly, Kith worked alongside longtime collaborator, Oakley, to debut a range of accessories for this occasion as well, including the fully adjustable MOD5 Helmet, Flow Scape Goggles, and sunglass silhouettes like the Cybr Dyno and Eye Jacket Redux, available in colorways exclusive to Kith for this collection. The Icon Backpack made in three exclusive colorways has a roomy main compartment for all day, everyday wear, media pockets, and secure closures. The Kith for Oakley assortment expands into Gauntlet Mittens and Gloves, Knit Balaclavas, Fleece Neck Gaiters, and merino-blended Patrol Socks, all made for warmth without sacrificing comfort.
